Answer: Does LHT 2220B hedge trimmer come with battery and charger Does this trimmer have a locking position or do you have to hold the button constantly to cut? Answer: YES, IT DOES. It's very simple. You press the button on top of the trimmer. Once you press the hand grip and the top button simultaneously, you NO LONGER have to hold down the top button with with your thumb. Once you release the hand grip, you must depress the top button again. This is a SAFETY measure, so the trimmer doesn't run without a contribution from the operator. Does this require hand strength to operate? My current corded trimmer requires squeezing BOTH hands and with my arthritis I can barely use it. Answer: I love, love, love my Battery powered trimmer.
