The 16th season of the Indian Premier League will open with an extravagant opening ceremony at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The ceremony is set to commence shortly before play commences between these teams.

An incredible cast of performers will combine music and dance in an engaging performance. Stars such as Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia, as well as world-renowned singer Arijit Singh will captivate their audiences.

Star-studded Affair

Bollywood celebrities have taken to the opening ceremonies of the Indian Premier League with stellar dance performances that have mesmerised audiences. Rashmika Mandanna and Tamannaah Bhatia along with Arijit Singh were seen taking to the stage this year; even Katrina Kaif and Tiger Shroff are expected to grace this event!

At the opening ceremony of IPL 2016, Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni proved why he is one of the greatest wicketkeepers ever by showing some outstanding field placement during an important phase of play to dismiss MI all-rounder Kieron Pollard and dismiss him outright.

Gujarat Titans of Ahmedabad hosted the inaugural game of IPL 2023 at Sardar Vallabhai Patel Stadium in Ahmedabad. The opening ceremony included an impressive laser show depicting cricket action, followed by Deepika Padukone performing with 40 dancers under her direction and an eye-catching drone show featuring 1500 LED-equipped drones forming various formations - leaving everyone mesmerised!

Spectacular Displays

At its 16th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), which kicked off here tonight with fireworks lighting up the sky and an extraordinary opening ceremony featuring amazing performers, spectacular fireworks set the scene as 1,500 drones performed dazzling 3D formations overhead.

Bollywood celebrities also graced the event by performing to their popular songs and adding glamour and splendor.

Fans attending IPL matches were also treated to an impressive laser show and variety of dances, and had an opportunity to personalise themselves with logos from their favourite teams using Hoola Hoop juggling artists. A special moment occurred at this ceremony when captains from each of the eight teams took an MCC Spirit of Cricket Oath; an agreement among players that they respect each other, their teams and umpires in addition to not making personal attacks against umpires during games.

Celebrating the Fans

The IPL 16th season began on Thursday with a spectacular match between Gujarat Titans (defending champions) and Chennai Super Kings in Ahmedabad, and an extravagant opening ceremony which dazzled cricket fans worldwide. The opening ceremony featured star power from both teams that amazed and delighted audiences worldwide.

Milk Beauty Tamannaah Bhatia and National Crush Rashmika Madhana took to the stage to delight audiences with their live dance performances, performing popular tunes from Hindi, Telugu and Tamil films to great acclaim. Accompanied by 40 dancers performing to Bollywood hits as well as hoola hoop artists that created team logos using LED glow sticks; audiences were spellbound.
